Frequently asked

What is worth knowing before you start.

Do I need to live in Paraguay permanently?

No. The Investor Pass offers complete freedom of movement. Keep your status with a single courtesy visit every three years, free of any minimum-stay requirement.

Can my family be included in the same file?

No. Currently, the capital thresholds and the issuance of the Constancia de Inversionista (investor certificate) are strictly individual, per applicant.

How long does the full process take?

Timelines vary with the route. We give a written estimate in the opinion, not before.

Does residency lead to citizenship?

After three years of permanent residency, the constitutional right to apply for naturalisation is established. Naturalisation is a separate procedure with its own requirements and prior-residency periods.

What if my application is refused?

We do not guarantee outcomes — the decision belongs to the immigration authority. The Paraguay Investor Pass framework provides for reconsideration and for the correction of documentary observations.
